TTC, PCOS and clomid

I was diagnosed with PCOS 15 years ago and on average have had 3 periods a year, if that. I previously got pregnant on clomid (150mg) 2 years ago but sadly had a MMC at 12 weeks. I have started back on clomid (150mg) and taken it for 3 cycles. I have had periods with a cycle length of approx 35 days each time so am wondering, does this mean I am ovulating but I'm not catching it as I have never had 3 periods so close together before. I don't temp as I cannot do it at the same time every morning due to work and OPK's always seem to be negative with varying degrees of light lines, but never darker than the test line. Any help/thoughts would be great!

Are you being monitored whilst on clomid?. If not you should be as clomid is quite powerful stuff and should also be used with a degree of caution in PCOSers. Clomid's main job is to make the ovaries work harder and it can also affect hormone levels markedly (particularly LH).

The surest way of knowing whether you are ovulating or not is to now have blood tests done. Temping and OPKS are both uneasy bedfellows when it comes to PCOS so you would be better off using neither anyway.
