To want to take one round of clomid?

I was diagnosed with PCOS and prescribed 3 rounds of clomid in September. I took 2, then saw different gyn who told me to stop clomid, did more thorough tests, and told me I also have a blocked tube. His recommendation was a laparoscopy to try and clear blockage. Not in UK, so op will cost thousands.
We have been dtd, hoping that lap and dye (in November) cleared the other side and we might get lucky. Nothing.
Whilst dh is happy to keep trying naturally, he is not keen on me having the op. He thinks we should just be happy with one. (5yo)
Would I be unreasonable to go against docs advice and take my last round of clomid?
Would love to not have to push for surgery.
Sorry for long possibly unclear post. I'm ill!

I'd say it's pointless if the blocked tube will stop sperm meeting egg anyway.

Hi makeyourown didn't want to read & run. I had two thoughts when I read your question. First I would be nervous of going against drs advice with clomid as its powerful stuff. But, secondly, if you've already had 2 months and were ok it may induce ovulation from your good ovary & egg so giving you a chance of a bfp. If you ov from blocked side you've not done any harm (as this will happen every other time you ov naturally) so no big deal. Do you ov naturally? If not I'd be tempted to take it but its your body, hope this helps your decision, good luck!

That's just it Ginger, I think it could give me a chance to ovulate on the good side and we could get lucky! And I took two rounds with no side effects...
