AMH level confusion-help!

Recently had AMH done, it has come back as 63.5 pmol/l

The doctor said this is due to me having pcos. I have heard amh be giving as a different figure e.g 2.5 or similar I think? How do I convert my amh?

That's the scale most tend to use, the other scale is ng (I think) mine is around 1 and I'm in early menopause, the ideal is around 28-48 I think

Ng would work with much smaller numbers

Hi, mine was 82 so don't worry! I have polycystic ovaries but not the syndrome. I am not sure exactly what significance it will have but just know that if it is too low then you can have problems if you are looking to have IVF as some clinics require a certain AMH level. From googling it does seem like quite a controversial measure though, with some believing it really doesn't have much significance at all xx

According to the lab report I received with my results:

Optimal fertility 40.04 - 67.90 pmol/l
Satisfactory fertility 21.98 - 40.03 pmol/l
Low fertility 3.08 - 21.97 pmol/l
Very low fertility < 3.07 pmol/l

Levels greater than 67.90 pmol/l are suggestive of PCOS
