Goodness, poor mother and baby.

My daughter was nearly born down the toilet so I can understand how it happened. I'm amazed that the baby lived.

ArizonaBarker · 16/10/2009 16:38

I'm sure I've read of this happening before, about a year ago.

flimflammum · 16/10/2009 16:40

And I thought, my god, she jumped off the speeding train? But then I thought, of course if it was my baby I would have done exactly the same.

Wouldn't the baby still be attached by the cord? Unless the placenta detatched straight away?

MrsJiggle86 · 16/10/2009 16:53

ive gone all goosey, thank goodness they're ok

Northernlurker · 16/10/2009 16:55

Crikey newborn babies can be tough! I wonder if the force of the fall and the forces exerted by the train snapped the cord as the baby fell? Mum was very lucky not to suffer catastrophic bleeding as well I think.

Littlepurpleprincess · 19/10/2009 21:36

lol. I don't think so.....how did it fit round the U-bend?

OmicronPersei8yourbrain · 19/10/2009 21:46

Indian train toilets: you look down, see the track. No u-bend.

Littlepurpleprincess · 19/10/2009 21:52

ok but as said before, what about the cord. This is just to far fetched.

LynetteScavo · 19/10/2009 21:55

This seems to be quite a common occurance in India!

But then India is a big place with a large population......

Anyone read Hippo Eats Dwarf? It's about hoaxes and pranks. If you believe this story, read Hippo Eats Dwarf.
