Goodness, poor mother and baby.

My daughter was nearly born down the toilet so I can understand how it happened. I'm amazed that the baby lived.

I'm sure I've read of this happening before, about a year ago.

And I thought, my god, she jumped off the speeding train? But then I thought, of course if it was my baby I would have done exactly the same.

Wouldn't the baby still be attached by the cord? Unless the placenta detatched straight away?

Crikey newborn babies can be tough! I wonder if the force of the fall and the forces exerted by the train snapped the cord as the baby fell? Mum was very lucky not to suffer catastrophic bleeding as well I think.
