Just read this in The Times yesterday - a quote from a poem featured in a book by Mick Grimes. His wife, daughter, and her daughter and unborn twins died:

" ... great things will be unfurled/When a gentle mother's hand/Is allowed to rule the world."

Oh, the poor man.

But it don't agree with the sentiment about women. They are less to violence but if they ruled the world (how would they come to rule it if not by force - and now would them maintain that poswer without it - these are the problems men (and women now) are prepared to face and deal with) that still doesn't mean it would be without violence or wars.

It's a passive Victorian view of women, which simolty isn;t true.

But the sentiment is nice and by a man in a lot of grief. But it's not a profound thought.

Sorry, if that sounds all Mr Darcy arsy
