No clue who she is but God, she sounds annoying.

Is there still a big demand for this vapid self-regarding stuff? Surely the social media pendulum has swung the other way by now? Aren’t we all sick to the stomach of ‘lifestyle’ fakery? Even the dowdy (by comparison), and very earnest, Toast ‘brochures’ make me go 🙄. We all know nobody really lives that flawlessly curated life unless they’re insufferably neurotic.

I can't remember where I came across her, but she's a drama llama, and a bit of a Walter Mitty.

I don’t know whether this will make her heart soar or sink. But I have never heard of her, or her books.

Fraser (and the scolds/flying monkeys/twitterphants etc) rage because people are not kind about her. Newsflash! People don't have to be kind.

The self-styled Cleaners are pretty much fair in their commentary. Not always kind. Often unkind. But fair. It's good to be fair. Fraser is rarely fair, due to her massive love-affair with herself and inability to have empathy with other people, PARTICULARY women. The cleaners, on the other hand, are for the most part very fair. Along with being intelligent. Humourous. Scathing. Unkind. Judgmental. Piss-taking. Sympathetic to victims of Fraser's often outrageous conduct. Supportive of each other. And the funniest group of women with whom I have had the pleasure of interacting.

Such a great sisterhood. I feel sorry for Fraser if she thinks the sisterhood is a myth, because that certainly is not my experience.

I think this type of career is very hard to sustain these days. You just can’t earn enough from writing and tv appearances unless you have unique knowledge or skills and are the go to media person … like Simon Calder for travel.

Book royalties are shit. Like hundreds of pounds per year- if you’re lucky! Maybe you can get an advance but it’ll be tiny if you’re not a debut author.

Influencers all eventually turn to flogging nutritional supplements or Amazon best buy lists to pay the bills. But you need a lot of followers for that. And the days of posting your life diary online are long gone. You need humour or exceptional expertise (an niche) and communication skills to do well these days.

She should just give it up now, get a regular job or live off investments (which I suspect is what she’s actually doing, others with similar “jobs” probably have a trust fund). Is it really worth plastering your life online for all to potentially judge and criticise to keep up the pretence of being a writer? Why put yourself and your kids through that?

Any of these wannabe influencers should just go and live their life, delete their socials and fade into obscurity.

Well that's true, I don't think I'd pay money to someone (anyway) but just for showing pictures of their legs and their nipples online.

Agree @paddEpower - I guess that’s why she keeps pushing the victim narrative, people are more likely to give if they feel moved. But when someone is constantly a victim of malign external forces, maybe it’s time for them to start looking at the one common factor…

I genuinely have no idea who she is, but it sounds pretty awful.

I just wonder what can acutally be done about it. People have and always will participate in awful gossip especially about people whose public image is giving advice. The only difference is now she can see it directly rather than it being in pubs or in front of the TV.
