inevitable really....don't like the guy but I pity anyone who is a heroin addict.

dunno, pity is running out after the amount of times he has been in and out of rehab

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/04/2008 18:24

he's a twat

Freckle · 08/04/2008 18:26

It's about time to be honest. I don't think there was much leeway for keeping him out of prison given the number of non-custodial sentences he's already had.

Mind you, prison for someone like him (i.e. a sleb) won't be the same as for the rest of the hoi-poloi, will it? He'll probably set up a band and they'll all think he's the bees' knees. And he'll still be able to get hold of heroin or cocaine inside too.

expatinscotland · 08/04/2008 18:28

He's a loser.

He's had time after time to get clean.

More chances than most people who get caught with smack or on smack before they get bunged away.

Can't say I have much sympathy for him.

He'll probably score more junk in jail than on the outside.

SammyC · 08/04/2008 18:29

I agree Freckle - about time! the amount of times he is filmed going in/coming back out of courts in London is sheer madness

donnie · 08/04/2008 18:33

yes I can't help thinking that an ordinary mortal would have been imprisoned by now. He's a bit of a prissy spoilt twat IMO - reminds me of Naomi Cambell though not quite as good looking. I still pity him the adiction though.

OP posts:
wannaBe · 08/04/2008 21:30

about bloody time.

WideWebWitch · 08/04/2008 21:30

about time too, tosser.

K20 · 08/04/2008 21:36

I hate the publicity he gets for being a junkie. He's a loser and never ever deserved the fawning attention of Kate Moss

MissPaulaYates · 08/04/2008 21:39

it is just for breach of bail

Hulababy · 08/04/2008 21:39

Finally!

Not like he hasn't been given enough chances and has enough money/influences to have sought treatments for his addictions.

ladytophamhatt · 08/04/2008 21:44

yes, its about thime but he'll be out in a fraction of that time.

and a lot less time then the average junkie too....

Alambil · 09/04/2008 10:09

I thought he was doing inside for breach of bail terms - not acutally drug offences?

biglips · 09/04/2008 10:09

hooray!!

biglips · 09/04/2008 10:10

yes thats right lewisfan

Scootergrrrl · 09/04/2008 10:12

It must be nice to be able to take the moral high ground all the time.
He might be an idiot but he's also an addict and someone's son. Hopefully this will sort him out.

VictorianSqualor · 09/04/2008 10:19

The fawning attentions of Kate Moss?
HA!
You mean the woman who is ALWAYS out on the town even though she has a little girl?
She is just as big a coke head as the rest of their little clan, isn't Amy Winehouse one of her best mates?
She's as much of a muppet as the rest of them.

waffletrees · 09/04/2008 11:07

Victorian Squalor - you are so right - if Kate Moss wasn't rich and famous her daughter would be in care by now. I hate the way that junkies are "glamorised" by the press. Where I live there are loads of drug addicts and they are the saddest people on the planet - they maybe could have done something with their lives instead of methadone programmes. Really I do feel sorry for them but at some stage they need to take responsiblity for their own lives.

Hulababy · 09/04/2008 12:39

I doubt prison will srt out his addiction TBH.

Yes, he is an addict but he has been offered all manner of supprt for that. There are many drug support groups avaialble, many very good. And with his status and money he can access pretty much any of them.

Yes, he is someone's son. I can't see anyone having a go at the parents though. I imagine they are probably not impressed either - would you be if he was your son?

He is a criminal. He should be in prison for his offences.

Freckle · 09/04/2008 17:03

I think he was originally given a suspended sentence for drug offences, with a condition that he attend a drug rehabilitation programme. He failed to comply with the requirements of the programme, so his original sentence has been implemented. So, in effect, he is serving a prison sentence for his drug offences, but only because he was an utter twat and failed to do what he was told to do in order to stay out of prison.

theBOD · 09/04/2008 18:01

hope it sorts him out.class musician.

Janos · 09/04/2008 20:14

How many chances has he been given?

About fecking time, what a tosser. No sympathy.

expatinscotland · 09/04/2008 20:17

Amen, Hula!
