and his family of course. How sad. Such great films as The English Patient and he was just about to start filming a full series of the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency.

i went on the bbc 'have your say' today, (i was having a slow day at work) and there was some twat saying that they shouln't be covering news about 'some celebrity' and that this kind of coverage made children become 'asbo's'. it was bizarre.

a great shame .

this has been a weird year for deaths so far

he had cancer of the neck and tonsils and died of a haemorrhage.

Just posted this in bereavement. Never thought to look at In the News.

He was a superb writer and director. It's a massive loss to the creative arts in the UK
And the manner of his death must have been the most awful shock to his family, how sad
The pilot of the No 1 Ladies' Detective Agency goes out on Sunday. I wonder if they will also broadcast a tribute to Anthony.

Huge blow to the British film industry. Truly Madly Deeply one of my favourite films. So

keep thinking about this - it is so shocking so young.
