To think the Grandfathers knows it all! Re: Sara Sharif

Latest update, the Grandfather has been lying all along and has had the GC with him.

It must be incredibly stressful for him, having been thrown into this situation by his son. But he will know where his son and daughter in law are.

This is such a traumatic situation for those kids, knowing their sister is dead. What sort of abuse have they been subjected to? What have they seen?

Not sure what the AIBU is!!! And I can’t be bothered making one up. There is more to this case, a lot lot more and I’m convinced the family in Pakistani are not giving as much information as they know.

not short of money

They flew back business class.

I wonder why they came back. Are they arrogant enough to think they can get away with it? I'm half interested in the excuses they will make about why they didn't phone for an ambulance when "the incident" happened.

Poor child. And her siblings. This whole thing will turn into a circus with their money.

Efacsen · 14/09/2023 07:58

@lljkk think they've come back because they ran out of options

Also allegedly they fled to avoid the children being taken into care in the UK but instead have lost them to the care system in Pakistan

British High Commission was involved in helping them return so maybe some UK taxpayer funding for Business Class tickets?

dimsumfatsum · 14/09/2023 14:50

They haven't lost the children to the care system in pakistan- the concept doesn't exist. The police are clearly in cahoots with the grandfather- who appears to be a wealthy landowner with influence in the area- they police will wait for the foreign media furore to die down and the kids will be returned to the grandfather where they'll live like kings and queens. They'll then return to the UK as teens/adults. I can almost guarantee it. One thing is for sure, they'll never live with their parents again because those bastards will hopefully be locked up forever due to their callousness and for them perverting the course of justice.

Evieanne · 14/09/2023 15:12

Trio fled
The British public: ”Why did they flee, they should come back and face the courts”
Trio return to the UK
The same British public: ”Why did they come back, they clearly only returned because it would be easier for them here”

makes me laugh how quickly the public switch!!

They’ll be in what is more like an orphanage.

dimsumfatsum · 14/09/2023 15:34

@Evieanne

Only temporarily and then life will carry on for them, unlike their poor sister who was hurt/killed/neglected (even in death) by their parents.

dimsumfatsum · 14/09/2023 15:46

The same British public: ”Why did they come back, they clearly only returned because it would be easier for them here”

@Evieanne but they're right though, aren't they? These three murdering bastards ran away to Pakistan because they thought they'd get away it. Luckily, our police pulled this one out of the bag and made Pakistani police shit bricks because they wouldn't let their incompetence get in the way of bringing Sara's killers to justice. That forced the three idiots to realise that they'd rather face a fair and humane trial (something they should've done right from the beginning) than one where they'd most likely be tortured. I pray they get the longest sentences available and never face daylight again. They must've literally have stepped over Sara's dead body as they were packing for Pakistan. I just can't comprehend that.

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 14/09/2023 15:50

Even if the 4 children by the stepmother remain in Pakistan I imagine the elder boy will have the option to go and live with his family in Poland?

If the stepmother is from the U.K they could perhaps return to the U.K. and live with family here?

What a terrible situation for those children and poor poor Sara, I hate to imagine what she must have gone through.

You seem to enjoy provoking on the Sara threads. Why is that?

So anything that points out double standards or people switching up is provoking to you? That’s fine by me.

If it was up to me, those three would have the worst punishment possible, but we don’t live in a society where we corporally punish people so we will have to do with them breathing in prison. They don’t deserve to be alive. But honestly it just annoys me the way the public react to these kinds of tragedies, they may be right but what’s the point in some of the public making comments about why they have come back after demanding they come back? Clearly it is obvious!

There has been one poster on this thread who has asked 'why did they come back'

How has this single post come to represent 'the british public'

From a poster who i don't think is even from the UK

My view is that that the vast majority of people are relieved they are back and will face justice here. There’s probably some who think they should be flogged in Pakistan. Personally, I think they should be held accountable and spend the rest of their miserable little lives suffering for what they’ve done to Sara, Olga, and the 5 other kids.

Maybe this case will bring to attention how dangerous the Family Court system is. It shouldn’t have taken the death of an innocent child.

@Evieanne what data do you have to back up your assertion about the “British public” flip-flopping?

Evieanne · 14/09/2023 17:21

I wasn’t talking about mumsnet but comments from the general public on certain news papers outlets

howrudeforme · 14/09/2023 21:28

i think a deal was done to get three back. But the other 5 kids now in ‘care’.

all the adults present a set of knuckle dragging provincial twats.

but the poor kids….?

I hope justice is done in the end. But in the meantime there’s nothing about this that honours poor Sara.

LadyatLady82 · 14/09/2023 22:51

It’s abhorrent and disgraceful behaviour, beyond the realms of most people in the world.

I wish they could have faced trial in Pakistan.

Why is one poster seemingly so intent on deflecting and minimising the malignant behaviour of Sara's guardians, grandfather and Pakistani authorities and acting as if Mumsnet posters are shittier than them and the aforementioned?

One thing with me. i' m so glad that Mother Nature set up my soul in a way that I don't hide behind my non mainstream heritage and use it to guilt people into minimising degeneracy caused by MEN of my heritage. Then again, I'm secure enough in my identity to have mainstream principles and morals that are stronger than any fake "alligience" to said heritage.

Couldn't be me putting on a cape for child murderers just because we come from the same culture. Furthermore, as a woman, the only set of men I may defend are some of the elderly as my energy is precious and no group of men go as hard on behalf of any group of women as women who defend any group of men.
Now watch some fool bawl about " respectability politics" and out the other side of their mouth dribble in confusion as to why we aren't respected.
Can't have yuh pudding and nyam it same time in this world.

dimsumfatsum · 16/09/2023 09:36

@HoldOnMiGenna I totally agree- be my friend! I

LadyatLady82 · 18/09/2023 09:13

So glad they’ve finally been charged but fear they’ve had long enough to think of and agree a story. I hope some expert questioning will unpick their lies and the truth is out for Sara.

those poor children in Pakistan too, no agency. Perhaps the boy who is Sara’s full brother could return to his mother? Who knows what his condition will be though after the abuse he’s witnessed and now lost his sister.

Who phoned the police and left the hand written notes?

I think it was one of her siblings.

ilovebrie8 · 19/09/2023 19:32

it is awful she had a catalogue of injuries old and new....poor thing surely someone must have seen her injuries and that she was being abused. Wasn't a one off by looks of it...evil! hope they rot forever....

I think it was one of her siblings.

The 'father' called the police from Pakistan (once he'd landed there), alerting the police to a dead child at the property.

The note was found at the property (posted through the letterbox I think?) and it hasn't been revealed who it may be from.

Candlelight34 · 20/09/2023 07:27

Notes were left under her pillow she was lying on.

One note read 'love you sara'

The other note left the name of the person responsible.
