Titan submarine

Following on from the devastating news tonight that the sun has been found I'm hoping someone with more knowledge can answer something for me please?
So as I understand the pressure that far down in the ocean is a lot and enough to crush things like implode the submarine and crush people because of the water pressure.
So how is the actual titanic wreckage and it's artefacts laid on the very bottom of that deep ocean and hasn't been crushed like a pancake?! I am just not getting my head around this one 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈

Titan Sub! Thread 4 www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/4833106-missing-titan-sub-thread-4 Some good discussion and experts on here

From what I understand the difference is that there is air inside the submersible and there is a difference in pressure inside and out, which causes the implosion.

This is correct. If you sink a ship, it will be full of water and the water pressure inside and outside the hull will be the same (or as near as makes no difference). There are therefore no forces crushing the ship. However, a submarine is a pressure vessel. The pressure inside the sub is much lower than the pressure outside, so the force of the ocean is trying to crush it. If the hull fails, it will instantly implode.

Experts🙄🙄🙄

It's not a submarine. The damage caused to The Titanic made it fill with water and sink to the bottom of the ocean. The Titan 'popped' underwater with the pressure and was destroyed instantly, breaking in to little pieces. Imagine the weight of all the water around you in a tiny vessel with walls 5" think. Unfortunately no bodies will be recovered due to the force of the implosion.
