So this is why our mothers kept us in the garden!! Daylight and sleep Mind you, it's a bit difficult to find any meaningful daylight in Scotland between Nov and April.

and getting as much daylight as possible helps to reset your biological clock when you travel between time zones. powerful stuff..i hope the sun peeps thru a bit today, suedonim [smilel]

We have a daylight lamp which we have on in the office on grey days like this (I do work at home).

If I don't use it, I'm desperate for a nap at 2:30 p.m.

i once spoke to a scientist who spent a couple of months in the antarctic and she nearly went quietly bonkers having 24/7 of constant daylight.

sending rays your way, suedonim

Hey, the rays have arrived, Bundle - the sun's just come out!! I've already been out this morning (taking our new kitten to have his jags at the V-E-T's) but I'll be off out again soon to get dd from school.
