Just looked at this article and tbh am not hugely taken with any of the toys for ds. THe dragonfly looks cool but after buying roboreptile and also dalek the play value is limited. The Optimus Prime is also ok, but again there are so many transformers toys and ds already has loads.

Why's it taking a lifetime to load?

Sunshinecursedmummy · 11/10/2007 14:01

Ds also has a Iggle Piggle and he loves it.

Anna8888 · 11/10/2007 14:06

Thet are all just horrible .

FrankAwenstein · 11/10/2007 14:08

sunshine - but is it the all singing all dancing £35 blanket sensing iggle piggle, or the little beany £5 one

Flamesparrow · 11/10/2007 14:17

I wanna seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

nappyaddict · 11/10/2007 14:20

it blames rising toy prices on wages increasing in china etc. how come toys are half the price in america then?

FrankAwenstein · 11/10/2007 14:21

true nappyaddict.

I have bought DS2 the £14 Iggle Piggle - at least you can give him a cuddle!

I can't see much play value in an oversized robotic blue thing.

Plus is is way too big - he gives me the eeby jeebies anyway!

Flamesparrow · 11/10/2007 14:28

Hurrah - seen em.

We've got an iggle piggle ready for Christmas (singing, not dancing), none of the rest appeal.

Yes it is the all singing all dancing one and DS cuddles him all the time. It's his fave toy at the mo.

ChippyMinton · 11/10/2007 14:53

baby annabell is quite big, heavy and unwieldy. DD has had hers since was 2yo and she hasn't really played with it much (she'll be 4 just after Christmas). She prefers the smaller (cheaper!) ones that come with a bath, and a little buggy to push them around in.

Just bought the Transformer for ds's birthday at the end of Sept.

He loves it, but we're having trouble sussing out how to transform him (the toy that is, not ds)

Hulababy · 11/10/2007 15:49

DD got her baby Annabel doll when she was 20 months old. She's been played with lots ever since, although have to admit that it was only the first year or so that she bothered with the functions - after that not bothered. DD is 5 now, so well loved!

bozza · 11/10/2007 15:54

Yes my DD who is 3 has played with her Baby Annabel lots since she got it at a similar age to hula's DD.

Sunshinecursedmummy · 11/10/2007 16:50

He's 18 months Mooncup.

Tortington · 11/10/2007 16:52

the crash proof dragon fly looks appealing

pointydog · 11/10/2007 17:15

I fancy that dalek mask.

Marne · 11/10/2007 17:19

I wont be buying any of them

Dd1 wants baby chou chou 'mummy make me better' doll, but i'm thinking £30 is alot for a doll.

LIZS · 11/10/2007 17:28

No probably not. ds loves Dr who but ownlt do a mask and dd already has a soft Iggle Piggle. These thinsg are always overhyped to sell out on a limited supply as "must haves" .

cremolafoam · 11/10/2007 17:32

every child I know wants this vile stuff

ProfYaffle · 11/10/2007 17:38

I can see dd1 wanting Iggle Piggle, can't see me buying it though. She might like the dog.

bossykate · 11/10/2007 17:39

i figure that dr who mask thingy will be featuring this christmas...
