It'll be interesting to see how Boris explains this one away!

Yeah it’s appalling. Rees mogg was slagging off the “snooping neighbours” as well. People who are more concerned about these perceived indignities than protecting people from domestic abuse in their own home which can and does lead to death.

"The person who made the call had already tried to intervene and got no reply. That doesn't make them a 'pervert', it makes them a responsible citizen."

So he claims. Did he really try to intervene? I'm not persuaded he tried three times knocking on the flat and got no answer. The police had no problems gaining access, did they?

And don't try selling me that crap about being "responsible citizens" and all that. What's the big idea about contacting The Guardian in the middle of the night about a neighbour's private row when the police had categorically said, "THERE'S NO CAUSE FOR POLICE ACTION!"?

Maajid Nawaz, you've stolen my words - every word of it - except that you called him a voyeur whilst I call him a pervert!

And what's this that I hear the creep's partner/girlfriend/whatever, had made some rude gestures towards Bojo a few days prior to the private row?

Responsible citizen, you say - in London? I don't for example, see any midnight calls to The Guardian when a record 132 youngsters were murdered in London last year (never mind a private row behind closed doors) and a further 56 more in less than half a year in 2019, and still counting. All this on the watch of the stunningly useless and hopeless failed Labour experimental 'Mayor of London'!

Bring us back Bojo!

No, put him at No. 10 instead of City Hall where he can reproduce all his magic to give everyone in the UK, not just London alone, a better life.

I have no issue with a neighbour calling the police if they believe there is something going on next door but to then ring the Guardian no not normal - chuckling at the poster who commented on Boris’s BDSM - can’t imagine someone who gets stuck on a zip wire as a Dom/master

Astonishing just how many people rush to protect and defend a man who was clearly involved in a volatile domestic incident.

Delighted a neighbour recorded the incident, just as he should have done. If more neighbours did that maybe more violent people would face justice.

Interesting the police denied an incident had taken place until forced into it. Friends in all the right places, eh?

I think the public have a right to know when politicians are involved in "domestic disturbances" that are heard clearly in other people's homes and go much further than a simple verbal disagreement. Screaming, bangs and crashes are red flags, not normal behaviour. I didn't realise so many people still believe a man has a right to do as he likes to his partner and it is his own private business. Personally, I would rather not see such a man in high office.

It says a lot about a person's values when they defend proven liars and cheats with a record of blunders and questionable competence.

It says a lot when people fail to address the issue here and bring up completely separate issues, nothing to do with the actions of Boris himself, trying to deflect attention away from HIS actions. Just what Boris does himself really in his ever so charming way.
