it has come to my attention that I have been accused of dumbing down MN. I challenge the accuser to comment in and inclusive and stimulating manner which not only draws in other MNers but expands their consciousnessess with a pinch of cameraderie and creates a ferment of supportive sororiety.

butterbeer · 13/07/2007 11:02

I like Bush's tie, but his jacket sleeves seem a little short.

Or is that not what you meant?

suzywong · 13/07/2007 11:05

May I join your dumbing-down club sooz? I started the Charlotte Church thread

suzywong · 13/07/2007 11:05

Wendy, you're in.

OP posts:
ggglimpopo · 13/07/2007 11:07

La Tupina is vastly overrated - not a vegetable in sight (apart from a couple of aperitif radishes) and full of hefty Americans fresh off the cruise liner who have read the New Yorker reviews.

Have you read my little contre temps on that thread? Blimey!

Shall we have tickers SW?

WendyWeber · 13/07/2007 11:07

"by Callista" sounds like a medieval vow

  • by Callista, we will not rest until we bring down the tone!
foxinsocks · 13/07/2007 11:07

Mumsnet Lite - has quite a ring to it doesn't it

life would be very dull if we were serious all the time

ggglimpopo · 13/07/2007 11:09

Mimsymum · 13/07/2007 11:20

Eww, I'm disturbed now by the image you've put in my head of 'A Firm Bush'.

What this site needs are sparkly tickers.

LittleLupin · 13/07/2007 11:23

a) does anyone know any single norwegian men?
b) I find Congress greatly improved by a firm Bush
c) Ahh, the great judicial traditions of cross-dressing... it's what made this country great, you know.
