I know of someone who fell over whilst carrying her baby in a sling. The baby received head injuries (obviously) but social services immediately jumped on the case.

Ds knows he lived with his daddy and he has a close bond to him. He knows mummy was poorly and that some people thought it was better daddy looked after him till mummy was lots better. He then knows that although mummy was better because he was doing so well at daddys they thought it best he stay there lots and stay with mummy a little. HE now lives with mummy lots and stays with daddy every other weekend.

He remembers the bulding we used to have our visits in and the toys there. He also remembers days out i took him with. HE also remembers a lady used to be there too.

He is a very affectionate and wonderful child. I still sing to him each night and cuddle him in his bed. We have the most amazing bond, helped i think by the strong bond we built when he was a baby. I breastfed him till they took him. When they took him it was in the evening and very quick, police there too. I wasnt even allowed to hold him, cuddle him and they were reluctant to let me kiss him. Very tearful thinking about it and that was over 6 years ago.

I think they were just interviewd and then it wasn't taken any further. I don't know the outcome of their injuries though. I was told this 3rd or 4th hand a couple of years ago.

nearlylostds - Dear Lord, how horrible for all of you. You must be a very strong person, to have pulled yourself out of PND and fought to get your son back. Please do post as many posts as you like, your experience is very relevant.
