www.theguardian.com/world/2018/mar/09/men-after-metoo-masculinity-fundamentally-toxic

TL;DR?

Bunch of men from London meet in the presence of feminists to talk about their feelings of shame and toxic masculinity. A bit like that girl from Fight Club I suppose..

Don't believe me? Then feel free to wade through it....

Ok, granted that London is the crazy capital of the world, but the probably short lived Men's Movement 2.0 ( thankfully 1.0 passed us all by) is just one of many organisations that appear to be gathering steam. It's a thing.

It seems that the Men's Rights Movement is here to stay.. Cassie Jaye's 2016 documentary seems to have lit the blue touch paper. But what does it all mean?

Do you want your man being tuttuted at ( actually sworn at) by Guardian approved feminists? Do you find concepts such as relational aggression to be a threat to your way of life, or a way to better understand your relationship? Is a man's fear of pathogen disgust rational or does he need to grow up and deal with it?

In short if the blokes start burning their Y fronts, going their own way or buying sex robots then where does that leave.... us.

I didn't read anything in there about mens rights? I read a lot about men talking to other men about masculinity. It's all a bit naval gazing for me but I think that about most 'group work' TBH.

It's a story about a feminist approved ( and policed! Lol ) alternative to the mainstream Men's Rights Movement JacksGirl...

Seems a bit desperate to me but gladly I don't live in London. :)

That's 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

It's not surprising the first two letters in the word men is me...me me me.

If they could think of others occasionally (without the need to get together for a group whinge'n'hug first), it would be a start.
