i read that article but tbh that is what i had always believed to be the case anyway. If you marry you enter into a legal contract. I am not married and would be peeved if any legal implications were foisted on me because i choose to co-habit.

OO - interesting that The Times has the opposite headline of the same case here

I think it's basically the same lesson here - married or unmarried, make sure you get your contributions and agreement to split proceeds set out in a Declaration of Trust before you complete your purchase.
