In the letters page in yesterdays G2..
"As a young woman who does not label herself a feminist, but believes we should have the right to thongs such as equal pay, I must assume I am one of the "vampire feminists" to which Zoe Williams refers ( \link{http://www.guardian.co.uk/Columnists/Column/0,,1732248,00.html\the baiting game, March 18) }. It's sad that she considers young womens opinions on abortion and equal pay to be a "feminist line", when they should be the opinions of all, regardless of whether or not they are "feminists". Perhaps Williams would not be so insistent on women calling themselves if there were not women out there who had to pretend to be men in order to appreciate and embrace their femininity

Now I had to laugh...if issues such as abortion and equal pay are not feminist, in the sense that they wouldn't exist without feminism, I don't know what are. And as far as Blockers assertion that they should be the opinions of all, all I have to say is that they aren't, and without feminism bringing them to the agenda, they never will be.
But I'd like to hear more views..
