So sad :( Really feel for their son.

i saw her in january giving a speech ( on the net not rl) and she seemed so positive and healthy
very sad - 44 - just tragic

She was only diagnosed in August.

How sad. My friend's brother just died of lung cancer too, aged 44. He was a smoker though.

It's just unbearable isn't it - their poor, poor son to lose both parents at this age and I just imagine her distress at knowing she was leaving him an orphan, the poor lad.

I can't bear to think about it.

When did Cheryl Barrymore die? I was freindly with her several years ago, thats awful news.

Cheryl Barrymore died last april (I think).

It makes you think about how lucky you are. My heart goes out to that poor lad, life is so unfair sometimes.
It is amazing the effect severe stress can have on your body, I wouldn't be surprised if the struggle and passing of her husband didn't have something to do with it
