All I want is a generic version of formula in plain packaging that costs exactly what it costs, sold via the NHS. Hell, even a supermarket "essentials" version. They're all pretty much the same, anyway - have to be by law, as I understand it. That way mothers with no options (and yes, we do exist - I expressed for 8 months, exclusively, before he was put on formula, and I did not do that for shits and giggles) aren't putting cash in formula companies' coffers, and nor would we be ripped off. It's horrible giving your baby formula when you wanted to bf. It feels worse knowing you are paying for the sodding ads, too.
And buying a stupid machine is buying problems when you've got 'em for free. The best way to ff is using premade cartons, because they ARE sterile and there's no wait/faff.
