Moondog...Thought about you when Turkey was mentioned. Take care.

expatinscotland · 13/10/2005 12:19

I agree, bunny. The best you can do is keep an eye on the situation in the press - on the WHO website, etc.

and stock up on tinned foods

TinyGang · 13/10/2005 12:23

Agree with bunny - not much faith in Government to get it right. They take the line 'This must never happen again..' and 'Whoops, sorry..' after the event.

expatinscotland · 13/10/2005 12:28

I definitely don't trust the Government after reading about their plans for politicians to be first in line for any sort of vaccine that becomes available.

Key workers, sure, but BBC employees? I dunno.

They'll probably trot out their pat 'We have emergency policies in place' rubbish. Sure, after it's obvious the entire place is infected, we call off school, which is pointless by then b/c half the class is too ill to attend anyhow.

Don't trust 'em for a minute, I really don't. It always seems to be a case of too little, too late, oops! sorry!

bunny2 · 13/10/2005 12:36
