I am disgusted at the thought of losing my CB. We have one income of 45,000. My only income is possibly going to be taken away. I use this money for childrens clothing, school activities and food, I have nothing now. I voted Tory and feel angry and extremely let down....

write to your mp

southeastastra · 05/10/2010 14:21

actually wondering if that would make any difference

Mummasmurf · 05/10/2010 14:23

Sorry to say but if you voted for them then you've only got yourself to blame.

Don't vote for them next time.

wasn't in their manifesto though was it? they said they wouldn't cut them (afaik)

animula · 05/10/2010 14:27

I think you're learning that there really is an income threshold below which it's against your interests to vote Tory. And that income threshold is pretty high.

Ripeberry · 05/10/2010 14:28

Labour would still have had to make cuts. What makes you think they would have kept it?

Suppose it means all SAHMs will have to go out to work then? And then end up worse as all their earnings will go on childcare.

2013 is a long way off and by then they MIGHT have sorted something out Hmm

SkippyjonJones · 05/10/2010 14:28

Is there a march ?

thedollshouse · 05/10/2010 14:29

I didn't vote for Tory. I considered it for about one second and then I gave myself a slap round the face and voted labour.

I don't really blame people who voted Tory. They said that they would be standing up for the family and that family would come first blah blah blah. The Tories have shown their true colours they are no different than they were 20 years ago.

Hopefully this fuck up will persuade people to vote the right way next time.

Mummasmurf · 05/10/2010 14:44

Actually I quite admire the OP for admitting she voted tory, I've yet to find anyone round her who will own up to it and we've got a tory monkey with a blue rosette.
