Apart from the home of contradiction the Daily Mail

i hope he gets slaughtered - stupid thick bastard

MinnieMummy · 08/09/2010 09:46

Absolutely hideous and offensive comment. Both he and Sky should apologise, and no, that's not overreacting (as Matthew Wright seemed to be implying this morning).

booyhoo · 08/09/2010 09:48

that is disgusting. hope gets dragged through the mill for that.

Alouiseg · 08/09/2010 09:51

Eurgh. Revolting man!

I think it's about time some sports pr's and managers took their clients in hand.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 08/09/2010 10:00

Nasty, what an awful thing to say. I hope he loses.

claig · 08/09/2010 10:03

disgusting thing to say. Glad that the Daily Mail has highlighted it, because I doubt it will get much high-level exposure anywhere else.

FranSanDisco · 08/09/2010 10:05

Agree it's an awful thing to say but look at the publicity he's now getting. A man who is repeatedly hit about the head voluntarily isn't going to score high in an IQ test imo.

LadyBlaBlah · 08/09/2010 10:06

He is getting publicity for having a fallout with Harrison but not many outlets are mentioning what he actually said

How depresssing

Angry Tosser.

FFS. Twat.

fluffles · 08/09/2010 21:25

i think it's good the media are not reporting it as SOME would think it funny and repeat it.

it doesn't deserve to be repeated in the media even to condemn it.

TwoIfBySea · 08/09/2010 21:27

It is interesting, in light of all that has happened in recent years, that sports men seem to have such a...deviant sexual nature.

Using gang-rape as a way of expression is jaw-droppingly stupid at best, sinister at worst.

DirtyMartini · 08/09/2010 21:27

What?! Who is this tosser?

msrisotto · 08/09/2010 21:28

I can imagine frankie boyle or some comedian on a panel show saying it though. Sigh.

Oh good grief.

the comment is not showing in the text of the sky piece at the moment (didn't watch the clip)

KittyBigglesworth · 14/09/2010 00:31

What an atrocious comment. It reflects his view of the most intrusive type of crime against women as something jovial.

I don't like hearing people referring to something as "a bit rapey..." either. It demeans the meaning of the word and by adding the 'ey' attempts to make it something less offensive and more of a jokey annoyance rather than a crime that destroys lives, mentally and physically, forever. Do they think about the pain and effects to the victim of the act when they utter the word? I suppose "it's all a bit of a laugh, innit!" He wouldn't be saying it if he or someone in his family were a victim.

Perhaps he would like to donate some money to a charity dedicated to dealing with the after effects of such a crime. Curse upon David Haye.

Seriously offensive.

Bumperlicious · 17/09/2010 13:25

I heard him and the other one on Radio 4 the other day, and they sounded like absolute twats, seriously, ill-educated, ill-bred Neanderthals.

Chil1234 · 18/09/2010 06:25

Who, seriously, takes any notice of men so thick that 'thumping other people until they are unconscious' was their only career option? I also heard the Radio 4 interview where they apparently sat at opposite ends of the studio sulking and wouldn't shake hands at the end. Ridiculous behaviour.
