Never had much success with this. I even tried bleach on mould on a white tablecloth and the mark still didn't go completely.

Diluted vinegar with hot water might work

Think it may sadly have to be a top for the bin! I've never been able to get it out enough for it to be useable again.

I just followed a mumsnet tip this week - soaking in quite concentrated Miltons, then hanging in sunshine for whites or washing for coloureds. It was a cream top, followed advice as for whites and it is perfect now!

i had a little bit of mould on DS2 football shirt in the week, its a red England top

i put a cloth over my finger. some fairy liquid, some salt and a squeeze of lemon juice onthe cloth, I rubbed at it and then rinsed under cold water and hung out in the sun to dry

All gone !!

dunno how you'd do it with it COVERED in mould though

Buy some borax. Mix a few tablespoons in about a cup of just-boiled water. Mix this with pure vinegar (white). Let soak for a few hours.

Add a few drops of dishwashing liquid and wash by hand. Rinse. Wash with dishwashing liquid by hand again (this is to prevent mould colonising your machine).

Hang in the sun. All marks should disappear.

A couple of days soaking in Napisan usually works but may fade the colour a bit.
