Are Turtle Mats worth the £££? Or can anyone recommend another sort of doormat?

It's for going from garden into kitchen (but will be indoor). It's mainly dusty mud at the moment but will be glass clippings soon I bet

Grass clippings I hope! I think my turtle mat is great but not sure how it would cope with glass...

I asked the same question just a couple of months ago- I'm not sure how to paste a link to the thread- but the consensus opinion was yes they were great. So I now have one. It is good. Doesn't work 100% of the time with wet footprints, but much better than the regular mat we had (and actually as I haven't washed it lots, I guess the absorbancy ought to increase). Haven't tested it for grass clippings though.

i read the thread froma while back and decided the other day to order some

but then i found that they're either too small or too big for my doorway, so now i need an alternative that comes in better sizes!!

someone on old thread recommended watsons floor mats as very good/long lasting and cheaper but they aren't as pretty Might be worth a look.
