Any recommendations for a vacuum cleaner on limited budget?

I have a budget of about £100 for a new vacuum cleaner - any suggestions?

I have a Hoover (not the upright, the other one!) and I really like the retractable cord and the ease with which the vacuum cleaner empties.

I would prefer bagless, I think - saves having to remember to buy new bags!

I have been recommended the Heyy - any good?

thanks!

I tried an expensive bagless cleaner- found it very messy. Didn't like swirl of dust in my face when I emptied it. Plus the one I had was very heavy.

I went back to a little Panasonic. Cheap, light, reliable. I have no complaints. Does need bags though.

Sorry this probably doesn't help at all....

Thanks, Fleur. You have been helpful.... made me think that I really don't like the puff of dust either, getting up my nose and all over my hands when I empty it.

Will have a look around.

I got one out of Asda, a Bissell bagless vacuum cleaner. it's an upright. it was £40, not sure how much it is now though. getting on okay with it - it's not exactly a Dyson but will have to do just now.

Henry is the best IMO they last for years and you can now buy a reusable bag for them which has a zip on. We just got one of the new eco ones which have adusable suction and i must admit its fab. Our old one was about 10 years old and still going strong so we gave it to my brother who just got his own flat. My mums had hers 17 years with no problems, great budget buy!
