Milton wipes?

Hi there

Can Milton wipes be used on dummies etc? A lot of my friends use them but I am not sure whether they are getting confused by the "Milton" brand, as the wipes themselves say they are for surface cleaning. There is a picture of a highchair and a house on the packet. So is using a Milton wipe on a dummy not the same as using a normal anti-bac wipe on something the baby is then going to put directly into her mouth?!

according to milton they're fine

BeckenhamMum · 12/04/2010 10:29

Thanks, where do they say that?

well, if you google it their site comes up and in the search results it mentions wiping dummies.
if you actually go to the page that bit has gone now, but they do say that you can use it and you don't need to rinse things afterwards- which implies that it's safe for children to put in their mouth

if you go to other search results they say the same thing

Thanks. I asked as I think Milton used to have a picture of a dummy on their packet, but it has gone now. And as you say, on their website under the wipes, it doesn't mention dummies anymore either. They say they are surface wipes for cleaning up spills etc.

The search results I found were only from individuals saying they used them to wipe dummies.

i think if it was harmful to be eaten it would have to say so on the packet..l does it have any warnings on theback at all?

BeckenhamMum · 12/04/2010 17:44

No, no warnings but will compare them to normal anti-bac wipes in the supermarket tomorrow!
