I doubt it.In the uk you are not allowed normal sockets in a bathroom and radios require a 3 pin plug=normal socket to operate.

I've got a battery operated radio in the bathroom. Are you looking for music while you shower? It was only a cheapie from Woolies (RIP).

What is it that you are actually trying to achieve?

My stepdad has a battery operated radio (the radio part is really rubbish) which has a 3.5mm jack on it, so plugs it into his MP3 player. Says it works fine for listening to MP3 tracks whilst in the bath.

I want to listen to the radio in the bathroom. I dont want to use batteries because they are expensive and difficult to recycle. Radios dont use much electricity (I think) so a two pin plug should be ok. I dont imagine it is any more dangerous than my toothbrush.

We have a battery powered shower radio and use rechargeable batteries in it.

I actually bought it as a joke pressie for DP about 7 years ago (it might also have been from Woolies Shaz) but it gets used every day and is still going strong.

Actually that's an idea, I could get a wind up radio?

Windup Radio currently £13

You can also get ones which are Solar charged. Though only once I've seen has headphones, not a speaker.

Thanks, why dont they make radios that plug into shaver sockets? I should invent one. Would anyone buy it?

I expect it could be done... using a travel adapter. Probably in violation of wiring regulations though... and don't put it anywhere near the bath.
