Best kit/ tools/ technique for cleaning kitchen and bathroom floors

I am a lazy girl when it comes to cleaning my kit hen and bathroom floor. Also I hate it because it takes ne ages and then it takes ages to dry which is annoying.

What do you use or do with yours that is quick and easy? I have a crawling ds so need the floors to be cleaner more often.

Sorry not very helpful but amused me after my one glass of wine.
I recommend the e cloth mop. It has a dry head that everything sticks too and then a wet head which you can just rinse under the tap. The floor doesn't get too wet either so doesn't take too long to dry. also both bits can go in the washing machine for next time.
I have a white tiled floor, 2 ds and 2 black cats...

Fill a bucket of hot water and add either fairy liquid or scoop of cilit bang powdery stuff. Get out a clean cloth from under the sink and then get on my hands and knees, starting at front door, working my way backwards from the hall (it's tiny), the living room (laminate flooring) then through the kitchen (tiled flooring) and finish in the conservatory (lino).

I just can't be faffed with buying/storing mops/fangdangled cleaning attire etc so I just do it old fashioned style!

It's my secret favourite job - I always tackle it with gusto with the radio on and get quite stuck in, so I actually feel out of breath by the end and thereby convince myself I've combined housework and exercise

I am liking my steam mop.

Vileda supermop, Flash and very hot water. Sweep dust and crumbs up first. Simples.

a generous splash of white vinegar in a bucket of very hot water.

a traditional string mop - gets into all the nooks and crannies.

job done. clean, chemical free, streak free.

I am a fan of those floor wipes, esp for small rooms like bathrooms. I Hoover or sweep up the dust and then use the wipe. The floor dries quickly afterwards.
