We bought some WOCA wood cleaner for our engineered oak when it was installed and with all the mud the kids bring into the house it won't be long before we need some more. Just wondering what other people use?

I buy the stuff in Tesco that says it is for wooden floors. Mix with water and wash...

[[http://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/Method-Wood-Floor-Cleaner/34546011?parentContainer=SEARCHwood en%20floor%20cl This stuff] is good - you can buy at waitrose and it smells really sweet like marzipan which I like.

I use dettol floor cleaner and a mop or a bit of washing up liquid and bleach in water with a mop I do try and wring it out a lot though.

My floor, which is solid oak lovingly laid by dh will probably be ruined!! But I have 3 dc's and a dog and the floors need to be properly clean at least once a week.

In our old house we had semi solid oak floor and I washed it the same way and it was fine, nothing ever happened to it.
Apparently oak is a hard wood so can withstand more (though don't think it was what dh had in mind!).

We have beech floors upstairs that will blow as soon as any water is spilled on it, so I don't mop those.

I just use one of the e cloth floor mopper things with just water on it.

Ecover floor cleaner (diluted with water) - smells lovely. Linseed oil crossed with barley-sugar.
