Best way to label school uniform?

I just got some iron on labels from Able Labels, but annoyed to find after one or two washes the labels just come off.

So now thinking of getting a pen. Seen loads of cheap ones on ebay - do the cheap ones work just as well?

If the pens don't work out then I guess I'll go for the sew on nametags, but don't want to spend out after ordering all the iron on ones.

Try www.itsminelabels.biz they are offering a free set of pencil labels with every order over 20 pounds. Their Iron-ons do work.

I have never had a problem with iron on labels coming off - we use the easy2name ones.

I use sew in labels. I run the sewing machine over the ends a couple of times. Really easy, takes absolutely no time and didn't come off last year despite constant washing.

Hi there, I know this is an old thread but I thought I might just add that I have just taken delivery of my name labels from www.wellpersonalised.com - I bought the iron on labels and the stick on labels, I have to say I am well impressed, they have gone onto the uniforms a treat and even after washing appear to have stayed put! The stick ons are great for water bottles and lunch boxes too!
