Breathe.

Try that stuff you use on cars to polish out scratches. It worked on our enamel bath. CAn't think of the blooming name. Halfords will have it.

Are they those grey marks? Like the metal turned into a crayon?

Or are they actual scratches that have removed the enamel, that you can feel?

try jif first - if its a mark rather than scratch it will work miracles

no luck with jif?

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 19/12/2009 16:14

Check a bit on a hidden bit of bath. I don't want you on my conscious if the T-Cut utterly destroys the bath!!!!

I can't see if would though. It was fine on our £squillion quid enamel bath, and most cars are plastic anyway, so should be ok on plastic bath....??

lol at couscous
well the jif should be fine - worst it can do is make the bath cleaner (but not remove any marks)
Hope one of them works at least

It is possible to get a bath re-enamelled, there are companies out there that specialise in just that. I need to get ours done as found a scratch from a plastic toy that had gone into the bath (which had a metal hook on the back) - really annoying isn't it!!

Could be worth trying the magic erasers - they move general scuff marks with ease.

WD40 moved the expanding foam sticky grott that got left on our bath!

Good luck

Not sure if it will work for this, but I once got rust stains on posh enamel radiator and put toothpaste on it (overnight?); thank god it worked... and toothpaste is something you wouldn't expect to cause damage so it's worth a try.

Good luck!!
