Can anything remove whiteboard marker pen stains?

They are all over my child's school sweatshirt. I have tried vanish spray and it did nothing. Had a search on here and a quick google. A couple of stain removal things were mentioned; globright stain remover 4 and dylon stain devil no 1. Has anyone found these work?

Hairspray was also mentioned but I don't have any.

We have 3 sweatshirts and 2 are covered (I have a very messy child) I don't think my son would mind much wearing them stained but hes in a Christmas Choir concert and will look a state.

NOPE.

Assuming he's got the stains at school, continue to use the stained ones for every day, and keep the unstained one for the school concert day.

What is he doing using whiteboard pens anyway?? At our school it is forbidden for children to use them, unless the teacher has asked a child to write on the whiteboard during class.

Try the oxy stain stuff, but soak it with it in as hot a water as possible for the fabric over night, then machine wash. It's got loads of impossible stains out for me and has only cost £1 from the £1 shop.

I think they all have their own whiteboards and pens to use on the carpet. Its quite common in numeracy especially.
