Best product for cleaning an enamel bath?

We're moving into a house that still has the original roll top bath (house was built c.1890) and I do not want to strip the enamel off of it by using my normal Bathpower. What should I use or do you have any tips on how to keep it sparkling clean?

Anyone?

Method Tub Scrub works great on mine, and it smells nice, which is a bonus.

HG Bathshine, from hardware shops, Lakeland, Homebase. Hope you haven't got hardwater, if you have, don't let limescale build up as every product which dissolves limescale also attacks enamel.

Soft sponge and washing up liquid.

Hmm, we have hard water. I'm tempted to get it re-enamelled anyway and may just start from there with regular cleaning. What about vinegar and baking soda?

We have an old cast iron enamelled bath which was badly encrusted with limescale in places - vinegar wouldn't touch it. This stuff worked wonders with a bit of elbow grease.

When I had my 1920's bath re-enamalled the company said I should only use ozkleen BathPower. It's one of the few if not only one, safe to use.
Read the small print on other bath cleaners and you'll see they're not
for enamel.
