So should I get a Roomba then?

I've seen the thread where lots of you were sharing the joys last year. Did they live up to expectation in the long run?

I have 2 young DCs, large house, work from home. Would a roomba make a material difference to the effort required to keep house in an OK state?

And, very specifically, would it pick up food from under high chairs. Please oh please?

Yes, yes and yes.
Though it has broken down a couple of times, but got picked up, repaired and brought back again fairly quickly. I did miss it when it wasn't working, it's cleaning the playroom at the moment ( I'm a childminder )and it'll do the kitchen next.
I love the way it brushes the pile up on the carpet too, though it's good on hard floors too.

Bumping, as I'm really not sure about spending the £ but fantasise that it would change my life!

Does your roomba work, and is it still working after a couple of years??
