how do you stop veg freezing in the fridge?

if i put stuff in the 2 plastic tubs in the bottom of the fridge or on the bottom shelf it freezes, any ideas on how to stop this? my 2 tubs are now just full of duck bread and i feel they are not being used to their full capacity.

Adjust the temperature of your fridge, it shouldn't be cold enough to freeze stuff.

are those egg things that change colour any good at telling you if the fridge is the right temp?
