Hi All. In a flutter of house-goddessness I made some lovely plum marmalade last weekend. Unfortunately I used my precious Le Creuset pan for that: the fruit and sugar got welded to the bottom in about a 1/3" layer. When I came to clean it some of the enamel coating came off with it

Please tell me that I can get it restored somehow and I have't just ended up with a very expensive bloody flower pot for my garden...

I think LeCreuset will re enamel them.

Don't know how much it costs though.

Yeah, thought so, thanks. But I think that would cost a fortune. Does anybody else do this?

I think I've just made the most expensive preserve in my career.

You can re-enamel a bath yourself perhaps you can do a pot?

they have a lifetime warrenty...so they should do it for free...their site page
