How to get stainless steel sink sparkly?

hi, we live in a hard water area and the sink always looks horrible - i'd love to get it all shiny and new looking. i have tried cif and cillit bang to no avail, what works?

When mine gets bad I fill the sink with bleach and water and leave to soak for a few mins then empty rinse and wipe - polishing after with window cleaning stuff is apparently effective too.

I bought some stuff from Tesco called "Shiney Sinks". T'is recommended by Franke dontcha know!

And it smells nice and works a treat

the bleach and water didn't work, so will give shiney sinks a go.. i have a franke sink so it had better work!

Toothpaste is good for tea/coffee stains round the plughole. Cut open the tube to reach the last remains that won't squeeze out. I, too, use Limelite & Shiny Sinks for the limescale. Try to wipe it down daily, so it doesn't build up.
