Getting felt tip off wool rug and nail varnish off cream carpet

Its been one of those weekends and I have felt tip on the woollen rug in the lounge and bright red nail varnish on the cream carpet in the bedroom, courtesy of toddler dd

Does anyone have any tips for removal please ? (of the stains, not dd ...)

I got felt tip out of my light beige wool carpet the other month using baby wipes (very carefully so stain didn't spread) and then finished off with Vanish carpet spray. It got it out completely. Sorry can't help with nail varnish though.

I would say nail varnish remover, cos if make up wipes works on make up, then surely it would work.

Thanks both. I did try a bit of nail varnish remover but didn't want to use too much in case it "melted" the carpet or something. It just smells so lethal !

Tried the vanish and it has faded the felt tip. Will try baby wipes as well
