Stainless steel fridge cleaning disaster!!! Help please!!!

Not sure what has happened but just can't get it smear free. have tried cleaning it down with soapy water and then buffing but STILL smeary!!!

What do I do? Please help it is annoying the hell out of me!!!!

OK I know it's a really boring subject for a Sat eve but that's the sort of sad person I am!!

I seem to remember that you're meant to wipe stainless steel fridges with babyoil. I've used an e-cloth on ours (but ours is not shiny steel, is more dull and easier to clean)

This is great for all sorts of things inc stainless steel - works well on my grimy stainless stell microwave!

ps it would annoy the hell out of me too and then annoy me even more than it already was as I would know that I am getting it out of perspective...

babyoil worked well on my SS oven
Wipe it off really well or you'll be smearing it for months
I also went out and bought some method ss stuff but it's no better

Stainless steel is a b*gger to clean though, toasters are the worst IMO!

no they're not - run a soapy cloth over them! They don't look clean (hence my gripe) but they are and they'll do for me

merlin I used to work in a restaurant with all ss appliances.
We rubbed them with an abrasive scourer (ajax powder) and a damp cloth then rubbed dry with kitchen roll.

MICROFIBRE CLOTH used dry should do it. If not dampen lightly. No other products necessary.

Don't use any type of oil product unless you actually have to remove stains or it will smear and smear and smear.

Yes e cloth is a brand of microfibre cloth I believe.

You do get different types for different jobs they have different textures - I got apack of 3 different ones and sometimes I use a coarser one than suggested for that job as it lifts the dirt better.

I have heard dr power the yellow one in the tin works in the jml range, i am gonna see if it works

e-cloths/microfibre cloths. Damp one first, followed by dry one to polish.
