well one of thos edays lol have really spent most of it buiding beds and moving clothes and sorting bedroom chaos....but almost done!
Dh is just finishing constructing the bunk beds in dd's room.
DS2 is asleep in cot in dd4 room yay!and dd4 has just gone to bed...though did look a bit sad when I tucked her in...think it ws the realisation that her partner in crime wasnt there and she may actually have to go to sleep!She did say she was happy about DS2 moving in though...
and the best bit ... I have my bedroom back! Have got it all tidy and even bought some flowers....keep going and just standin gin it enjoying the peace!

Now just need to catch up on some serious FLYing over weekend, and hope to be back in control next week....

Soft play was great until DS2 spilt all the drinks. We then came home and moon sanded, had lovley roast chicken dinner and boys are now tucked up asleep.

DH is discussing the nightmare of the dairy going in to liquidation. It is a disaster for his dad, as they are owed at least £7k and had £30k in investments with them

I am tired and glad it is the weekend. We are looking for a big boy bed for DS2, he would like a midsleeper. I wish the forcast wasnt for heavy rain

Evening all. Had a quick scan through the thread, sorry there's still poorly ones.
I've done everything on my list (wonder how long this'll last.....?) and have allocated house jobs to days of the week. Think I got it as even and easy as I can, and think I have everything on there, but will see after a week or so.
Not doing car boot now, weather looks too rubbish, so the flat will remain rammed with clutter but it's all mostly hidden (!).

Goodness that does sound dreadful about the dairy TMH, presumably lots of locals will be affected?
What a kind friend you have, I have a local friend who used to look after me a bit when mine were little, it made such a difference.
Galen, it's lovely that your dd3 & 4 had all that time together in same bedroom, but presumably dd4 loves playing with ds2 too?
Maybe she will enjoy being top dog for a while, and dd3 being the little one?

House is getting ever tidier - dealt with two more hotspots in kitchen.

Dh brought his own pizza home which he shared with me later
Bad tempered dcs from 6.30 onwards, then at 7.00 lovely time playing puzzles till bed . Must remember PUZZLES NOT BOARDGAMES.
So all is peace and quiet now, tho' dd re-emerged for a brief chat at 8.45
