We are having a major moth problem at the moment. They're in our slidey wardrobes. I've put in those cedarwood rings that you can get to go on coat hangers and a couple of "mothkiller" hanging things. Nothings working. Any ideas?

Watching with interest - we are also over-run.

go in, and go in hard - it is war I tell you!

We moved somewhere that was infeasted, but not before several beloved woolen jumpers were chomped.

I tried cedarwood balls etc, but they are only reppelants. if you are infested you need to kill the bastards.

Rentokill do a vastly toxic spray. Spray and hover at regular intervals.

In our house they attacked a beautiful wool carpet (t'was in the loft for 'safekeeping whilst building work ongoing - oh the irony) that my Dad brought back from India when he finished his comission, it was over 50 yrs old and the only gift I had from him (he has passed away) I cried when I saw what they had done and cost me a blardy fortune to have repaired.

Yes they are buggers. DH has had a suit chomped, Little feckers. Have ordered a few moth boxes and will also get to B&q for some horrid spray. Have been vehemently clapping my hands together, chasing them and squashing them. I look mad

My DH had 3 suits chomped, one just below the zip - I was kind and pointed it out before he left the house.

Spray and hoover not hover, although that may also work.

We do the mad clapping too.

The worst ever was I was awoken in the middle of the night (3am) by a loud storm, I could hear dripping so realised the roof was leaking AGAIN. I went up to the loft to strategically position a plastic box to avoid (more) ceiling damage and there were dozens of the bastards just emerging from their cocoons en masse. I went racing downstairs to get the toxic spray and nuked 'em.

DH, of course, slept through the entire debacle.

Ewww! We have them too! Makes my skin creep. moved in a few months back and thought the'd go since there's not really any soft furnishings. Worried about nuke spray because of baby though...
