Flash Eraser? it gets most things off IME.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 01/04/2009 00:58

What's the surface? Painted plaster, wallpaper...?

phdlife · 01/04/2009 12:02

it's painted, underneath is some kind of fibreboard.

I have successfully used wet wipes in the past. More than once

TheFallenMadonna · 01/04/2009 12:11

That was from a painted plastered wall. Not sure about painted fibreboard.

Try rubbing the marks with bread.

iSOLOvechocolate · 01/04/2009 12:58

I've heard of bread before, but never tried it.

cornsilk · 01/04/2009 13:01

You can buy stuff from GLTC.

bodiddly · 01/04/2009 13:02

definitely Flash Eraser .. it worked for us - or stale white sliced bread!

Ruby01 · 02/04/2009 15:41

watched how clean is your house once and they put hairdryer to it warmed it up and then wiped it off with a damp cloth - it was amazing!

iSOLOvechocolate · 02/04/2009 19:10

I guess that makes good sense as it is wax! must remember that one!

mrsrawlinson · 02/04/2009 19:16

I got a big box of those Flash Eraser type things from Aldi the other day and it was only £1.50. Definitely recommended, and I speak from crayon induced experience.

crankytwanky · 03/04/2009 00:28

Spray furniture polish on then wipety wipe.

phdlife · 03/04/2009 00:35

hm we do have Aldis here, shall pop in and see if they have flash eraser. Don't own a hairdryer, hairspray or furniture polish.

Ds seems very determined to draw all over things!

Ooh, now I'm reminded of my lovely pregnancy craving for JML's Doktor Power magic eraser sponge. Phwoar.

phdlife · 03/04/2009 00:42

springy, do you have ANY idea how kinky that sounds (for a person who has no idea what you're talking about???)

OP posts:
SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 00:44

Pfffft! Well I suppose if you will read it with a dirty mind

It's a special sponge which you just add water to & it does stuff like remove crayon from walls, etc. I don't know if you can get it there - I doubt it, from your confusion

But my pregnancy craving is just touching it. I don't want to eat it or anything, but I carry bits of it around with me & find it really relaxing & lovely for no apparent reason.

AnnasBananas · 09/04/2009 13:34

WD40 will take crayon off a painted wall!
