Anybody got an ikea sofa?

Have found a perfect leather sofa from ikea and wondered if anyone has ever bought one from there and has it lasted ok?
It isn't particularly cheap (simular price to dfs, cfs) and ikea are doing 1 year 0% where as dfs etc often do 3 years.
Any feedback/reviews would be gratefully recieved. Thanks

We bought a kartorp (I think) and took it back as it was total and utter crapola. From previous post everyone seems to like Ektorp tho.

i had a sofa from there which lasted for 6 yrs, and jut got a 4 seater klippan to replace it

we inherited one from my brother's rental flat. It looked brand new. We've had it for 3 years and it still looks like new (good god how I don't know with 2 dogs and 2 children) The covers are washable and wash well, the dog chewed a little of the piping but it's not ikea's fault

We would buy this ikea sofa again!

we have a dirt cheap one (not leather) and it has lasted 5 years so far despite ds1's best attempts at breaking it

I have an ektorp and it's great. Really comfy and washable covers. I don't know how the leather would last though

we have a klippan- had it nearly 2 years and it's going well. We have updated the covers a few times- I managed to rip one, shrink another so we have the one that's on there at the moment and a spare plain navy one.

we have ektorp
tis fab
very comfy but would think it may be a bit shallow for a tall adult
we are all short arses

I would love to have the new stockholm one in pink velvet-it is stunning

I bought a leather one about 8 years ago(again, not a cheap one, but got a deal from their bargain corner) and it is still going strong. I would say that if you are getting leather, make sure it is in a dark colour to withstand slops and spills. DS regularly jumps on it and it still looks good!

We have a leather sofa from Ikea. Can't remember the name of it, but I don't think it is Ektorp - have a vague recollection they were too big. Anyway, it is 5 years old and still going strong. This is despite the dcs leaping at it, spilling stuff over it, etc. etc. It is dark brown in colour. I don't recall it being particularly expensive.

Only downside is that the leather is cold when you sit on it first thing in the morning, and too slippery to sleep on, but that's not Ikea's fault.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Been to ikea tonight and the 1 years 0% deal finished on Sunday! How bloody typical!
Haven't got enough dosh to buy it out right so the hunt for a slim-ish dark brown leather sofa continues.....
