Double bin?

I've been looking for one full size kitchen bin that has two inner bits of equal size so I can use it for rubbish one side and recycling the other side without having to have two bins in my kitchen.

Up till now I've only seen ones that either have one big section for rubbish and one small section for recycling or ones that have more than two sections!

Have seen one in a magazine recently by Brabantia, which seems to be exactly what I want, but was over £130 so a bit out of my price range.

Has anyone seen a cheaper version anywhere???

or a 20l stainless steel one here

We have the brabantia one - although it was only (Before children and not really only) £80.

It really works, we empty it each night nad transfer to the outside recyling. we like it as it was more compact and looked like a traditional bin.

You can get ones with the equal compartments now, but they are not as astetically pleaseing , so it has been an investment and it looks as good as new.

DS1 (nealy 4) and DS2 (2.7) both know which sections to put stuff in.

I'd like one with equal compartments as I have pretty much the same emount of rubbish as recycling and then can take them both out to wheelie bin at the same time!

Do you think it will work with mixed recycling in one side and in the other side a bin sack with normal household waste?
Does anyone else do this?

Bit of a saving on them here:

We use a white bag in each side and DH takes them out to the wheelie bin and recyling boxes each night. We dont use black sacks as they are too big and a waste really.

I like the simple human one, the only downside to the brabantia is the fingureprints on the steel
