Any ideas what to use the nets for washing machine tablets for - I've got loads!!

You know the ones that you're supposed to put the tablets in inside the drum? You get one in every pack and I'm sure that they're multiplying too! I've got loads and was wondering if anybody had any good uses for them?

I have tried soap nuts btw before anybody suggests that - I just don't like them.

crab fishing! They are great for putting your bacon bits in and the crabs get their claws into the net and are less likely to fall off

Send them in to your child's school (if they are primary age) - useful as bags for words and spellings to take home or similar. The teachers will love you!

Put pot pourri in them

Ludaloo · 24/02/2009 07:59

They are also good for putting lego peices in and then cleaning in the dishwasher.

bird feeders

AliceTheCamel · 24/02/2009 08:11

Take soap on holiday in them. You don't even have to take the soap out, just use through the bag (exfoliation!) and then hang to dry in the hotel bathroom.

Bird`s Nest Store -fill with scraps of material and thread ,tumble dryer fluff etc, hang and watch birds help themselves.O.K.I cheated and got this from the Internet!!!How many more can we find !?-it reminds me of 101 other uses for a brick so is exercising our brains

washing baby socks, keeps them together so the machine doesn't lose them

Annabel1 · 28/02/2009 22:06

Filled with cotton wool, pipe cleaner "scarf" round about third of way down, black sticky dots of eyes, mouth and buttons. In loft now but if I remember properly the hat was circle for brim which had hole that the tie bobble went through and can't remember how they attached the black paper tube - sellotape maybe- that was the rest of hat. She made two - one came home complete and the other the tube fell off and he looked rather like Fagin i thought! sweet and not too showy like some pre school crafts. Wish you could do sketches on mumsnet!

Genius all. Now what about those plastic discs you get to put on top of those individual filter coffee things??
