Back again.

Sagacious I'm sure I saw 'wittering aimlessly' as a mission on the flylady website once. Keep wittering. I had a headache for weeks last year. Really gets you down, doesn't it. Haven't had it before or since.

Have done today's mission, but my sink is not shiny and I still don't know what's for tea. Methinks I need to work on sorting out some routines at some point. Maybe later. Really need to do some reading before the noisy ones get home.

EHM · 23/02/2009 14:45

Afternoon ALL

We've sold our house, had offer on Saturday & after lots of phone calls with Estate Agent we agreed on a figure! We are still in Started Toilet Training with Ellie yesterday & so good so far. 3 mishaps between getting up yesterday & going to bed. I thought that was pretty good. She was ok at preschool today. Went to the toilet when we came home. Just had a no 2 mishap but still very pleased My baby is getting so big. I"ve been swimming today & feel very alive!

TMHI'll be thinking of you on Friday.x
scattygood luck with scrap man?
saga sorry dd is poorly.how are you feeling now?
wolfhave a good day
*galen8 hope you have a productive day.
swan seen a brief clip of JP last night it had me & dh in stitches
dame sorry to read holiday house wasn't good.at least your home now?
jashope you are on the mend soon.
herbwomen welcome to the thread.these ladies are lovely.
shannagod luck with your routines. GIve dp the bleach & tell him to do it
EV you deserve a little me time.

I think I am caught up with today's thread. DD wants a nap so not sure if I should put a pull on nappy?

Jas · 23/02/2009 14:59

Yay! EHM (and thanks)
DS is still not at all interested in toilet training

EV Saga _ i hope you and dd are both feeling better soon.

I have now done:
tidy sitting room
hoover downstairs
tidy and declutter dining room
clean whole bathroom

And am putting off:
wrap presents for ds
find and write new baby card x2 for neighbours recent/imminent arrivals
wash sitting room curtains

DD1 has friends upstairs playing on the Xbox, and they keep trying t sneak 12-15 rated games up. I think I will have to take them to the park now.

HerbWoman - Menu planning and shpping with a list t match has really made tea times easier (and healthier, and cheaper!) here. It is one of the FLY things I stick to even when everything else falls apart.

swanriver · 23/02/2009 15:17

My back is fine now that I've done lots of walking around, going to work etc, it really does help but thanks for kind admondishments flyladies. Think my joints are stiffening in old age alas.

Well done EHM for sold house! I would say yes to nappy at naptimes. Unless she is superEllie - she may well be

Now back to school again.

Ds2 is having a friend here until Cubs, hope it will inspire him to do his homework companionably.

EHM · 23/02/2009 15:52

Thanks swan I waited until she was asleep then put on a pull on nappy just in case.
jas enjoy the park.

scattyspice · 23/02/2009 16:05

Hi, guys I am just putting my head around the door so I know where you all are later when I return. Menu planned last night and went shopping in between clients this morning. Have been menu planning thanks to mn for several years now. Just got back from taking ds to swimmingclub. Did laundry before work and got it on the line too. Ds is getting the hang of things he brought his trunks and towel home and put them straight in the washing machine Welcome Herbwoman (I am new here too, so we can learn together )

Mahhouse, a spread sheet is

I hope everyone who is poorly children and adults are all well again soon. Right I am off now....

swanriver · 23/02/2009 17:43

Done
Library helping for two hours
Taken kids to park for I hour for runaround
Fed everyone healthy snacks
Taken desperately keen dcs out on bikes on pavement (well one on bike two watching one chasing up and down yelling -me)
Tomorrow I need to take bikes in car and park next to park ifysim for straight after school bikeride.
Playdate luckily cancelled as friend needed to do his Kumon maths homework very advanced friend? Ds1 has just been spitting at me whilst doing five sentences using words like "partial" and "reaction". Now they are watching 30 mins of cbeebies - [relieved emotcion - breathing space to heat up tea] before ds1 goes to Cubs.

So blur not bleuring I fear.

wendyredredrobin · 23/02/2009 19:42

Hello all and welcome Herbwoman. don't do the missions til you have sorted a few routines, I still don't always do them.
EHM well done on house sale!!!

Busy day, off in the bath now. Was at the hospital with DD's finger dressing changed etc etc from 10.30 til 3 pm It's hard entertaining a little one in waiting rooms all that time. It is healing well but it's going to be a while yet . I have to dress it myself every day now and put on hydrocortisone to counteract the overhealing that is going on (she is growing lumps of skin where she shouldn't be).

BIG NEWS -- WE HAVE HAD AN OFFER ACCEPTED ON THE HOUSE I MENTIONED LAST WEEK!!!

Early steps on a very long ladder, hope it all goes through.

EustaciaVye · 23/02/2009 20:23

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 23/02/2009 20:31

Mad - been thinking about you lots this last few days, hope you manage to enjoy this week with the boys, then you have a few weeks rest to plan more madness and mayhem ahead.

ShannaraTiger · 23/02/2009 20:33

TMH thinking of you.
DS no interest in potty training either. I have faith that we will get their before starting playschool in September
DD and DP in bed asleep. DS still wide awake, me well my eyes are open but brain definately asleep.
I'm giving up thinking now
BBTomorrow Night all

Jas · 23/02/2009 21:01

How old are all the non-potty trained dc? DS will be 3 n Thursday, and if he was my first I would be worried, but both dds were well over three before we made any real progress, despite my earlier attempts, so this time I am prepared to wait.

He should start nursery in April, but I think they will take him in pull ups.....they take them at 2 so they can't all be out f nappies, surely?

Maybe I should check

Wendy - Is that the one with the red kitchen? I liked it....I hope it goes smoothly for you.

TMH Slightly terrified is ok. We'd think you were a freak if you weren't at this point.

Ruby I don't think your dh has quite got the hang f internet security, has he?

Maybe I should check out some boob jokes....
