Does anyone know what will get it off please?

I'd try babywipes first, 'tis amazing what they'll shift.

lillypie · 25/01/2009 14:22

My first thought but it's not shifting.

You are not alone - Dd also did this, and I think I got the worst off with baby wipes, but I think a microfibre cloth might work with lots of rubbing.

NorktasticNinja · 25/01/2009 14:25

OK, then strong alcohol or hairspray on a clean cloth...

CarGirl · 25/01/2009 14:30

Couldn't get it off ours either, I even asked about buying a new top bit and got no response from the distributors (the manufacturers said contact the distributors).

Over time it seems to have worn off though.

bronze · 25/01/2009 14:31

is it biro? I have the same problem. Mouse is looking a bit stripey

chloejessmeg · 25/01/2009 14:35

Whats a wheely bug? And what type of pen?

lillypie · 25/01/2009 14:38

What about white spirit? Or white vinegar?

I might try that tomorrow

Little devil, she drew on herself, her doll house and the backs of a couple of books as well (that's all I've found so far!)

Baby wipes worked on every thing except the wheelybug.

Wheelybug, they are leather covered...

lillypie · 25/01/2009 14:39

I haven't found the bloody pen yet!

I've got some leather biro remover but tbh it takes off a bit of the surface from the leather I think it will continue to wear off over time it does on the sofa.

nancy75 · 25/01/2009 20:13

try perfume, it gets nearly everything off. put some on a cloth and try a little bit out first to make sure it doesnt stip the colour

lunavix · 25/01/2009 20:15

Hmm

are they just a ride on toy?

Snufflebufty · 25/01/2009 20:27

try milk. I know it takes biro out of material, unsure what it does (if anything) to leather.

lillypie · 25/01/2009 21:13

Thanks I'll try

oh I shall watch with interest, as our DD has done the same but on DHs brand spanking new cream leather executive chair!

Let us know what you try and what works!

pollywobbledoodle · 25/01/2009 21:28

wd 40/ wipes containing alcohol?.....but try a little area first

SunshineJen · 25/10/2011 12:30

I emailed Wheelybug Toys about board markers and they said to try warm soapy water at first but if it still doesn't come off then using a bit of deodorant and a cloth has been rumoured to work. Don't ask me how or why. It comes with all the warnings about possible discoloration etc and try on an inconspicuous area first etc etc. good luck

lampli · 25/10/2011 13:00

Have you tried one of those sponge block things? I think they are called magic erasers, but I have a cheaper version which usually works very well.

mummakaz · 25/10/2011 14:19

I 2nd the hairspray, I used to clean pen off my leather sofas this way
