Knackered after having friends round. Off out with mums for pizza tonight, yum. and wine. getting a lift there, not sure if i will get a lift home or have to walk. hey ho, don't care after wine

Well there are benefits to being a slattern - such as hanging out with the cool crowd at the back of the field rather than the swots who are at homework club

That in itself would probably be enough to make it worth the effort of being a fake slattern in my book

(Luckily I am good at pretending to be a slattern, on account of me having spent actually being the worse kind of slattern

Hello all. Ok I have extra incentive as my heatings packed in so landlady might have to pay a visit... she is lovely but want the place to be perfect for her.

So this weekend need to -

do dishes
general tidy up of front room
clean out rabbit
clean bathroom
change bedding
sweep floors
mop floors
hoover bedroom and front room
put away clean washing
pick prescription up
dusting
general tidy up bedroom
studying

grr - think I'm about to run out of parcel tape so will have to pop down the shop, had ordered a couple of cans of Dr. Pepper with my Pizza so that I didn't need to go out again and now I will anyhow.

Still kitchen and bathroom are done now, as are the DS's bedrooms (done yesterday), the lounge (done Wednesday) and the majorit of the dining room - most of what is out is either rubbish, or stuff waiting to be packed into boxes because they're

awakward shapes
useful "padding" stuff (ie linen)
or very very heavy and breakable so need to think carefully about which boxes to put them in.

Sounds like you are going great guns there FAQ! Does H have the children? If not could you make a call?

Have done the shower, but it needs something to remove limescale from the grouting, anybody have any ideas . Will continue with the bathroom when dh is home later.
