RIGHT I have to get organised. DD3 is2 on the 20th Feb, My DN is having her 21st pary the next night. I have to get my arse in gear and start getting this house in proper order as will end up having guests staying over and dont want to end up in a panic the week of it because it will be my birthday that week!!

Hi I am fine ,my sister just turned up with dp back from school run and sort of buggered my plan up for a nice quiet morning , now I have nothing done and the dog has messed on the living room carpet .

I have bought a pram for the baby though .

Bad news re carpet. At least it wasn't the girls coming straight home from school sick which was my guess.

Have spent that last hour lying on the floor semi-snoozing as ds1 played beautifully & ds2 naps.
feel slightly more awake now. Was up in the night with ds2 as he's learnt to roll over in his sleep then wakes up crying on his front. just did the same now, have laid him back down on his back and he's gone straight off again.

This is what I was meant to do today -

As you can see, the list has been a bit of a non-event.

However, I've spent ages in junk shops and charity shops with ds sorting through buttons, and looking at vintage stuff on the internet. Just not done anything particularly useful...

Thanks ComeWhine - I felt what I had was a little boring

What I didn't plan to add to my list was spending 3 hours in A&E in the middle of night because I had an allergic reaction to some ibuprofen - so I'm bloody knackered, DS has been grumpy all day and won't take a proper feed because he was up all night too and upset because my face was all swollen and weird so kept just wanting to feed!
Really hope DH comes home from work soon, although he is knackered also! I'm sensing a take-away this evening.

Hope everyone has had a productive-ish day! I am not doing well on my list.

No it's not a dumb question. I'm asthmatic and have always avoided asprin,ibuprofen etc because of that. However when I had my c-section with DS I was given voltarol for the pain and prescribed ibuprofen under the supervision of the aneasthatist (sp?). No reaction at all and I was taking it for about 2 weeks. I've used it a few times since when I've had mastitis and again no probs. I was using it yesterday because I had a v.painful blocked duct which I was trying to sort out without ABs (whole other thread, keep getting breast thrush). So it's a bit odd that I've not had a reaction before, but I won't be taking any again!! At least the blocked duct is cleared though and no sign of any mastitis so not all bad!
